Regional cooperation with the Caribbean covers the sixteen countries part of the ACP and has benefited from more than 340 million of grant funds since 1976. The main objectives pursued are the regional economic integration and co-operation(including private sector development in trade and tourism), human development and capacity building, decentralised co-operation and drug control. A particular focus is given to supporting the competitiveness and development of the private sector.
